Hello and welcome to spring in Sammamish. We would like to invite you to the Sterling Woods 3^rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt! If you would like your children to participate in the egg hunt, please drop off 12 eggs (plastic eggs filled with a treat of some kind) per egg hunting child at the Lisa and Dan Jones' house (2203 204^th PL NE) up to one day before the event.

The egg hunt will occur on three waves: 3 and under, 4-7 and 8 and up. Remember to bring your own basket for the hunt. Also, we want all of the children to have fun so it is important to make sure that you drop off your eggs.

Additionally, we are in need of tables and canopies so please let us know if you have any we can borrow. Call Lisa Jones at 425-868-7149. Finally, join us in supporting the local Humane Society by bring a donation to our event. Their website is above and a wish list can be seen there.

Endless Summer Nights III

September 22^nd, 2007 at 3:00pm

Each year the Sterlingwoods community and homeowners association joins together and celebrates two special events. In the spring is our annual Easter Egg Hunt and in the late summer a BBQ and block party event. This year’s Endless Summer Nights in Sterling Woods (our third!) neighborhood party was held on 204^th Place. Once again it was very special because we were blessed with wonderful weather, great neighbors and it allowed us an opportunity to welcome all of our newest neighbors. It has been a great three years and this event has highlighted the wonderful community that we all live in.

The highlight was the evening outdoor showing of “Over the Hedge” for all of the children complete with popcorn compliments of Diane & Bishara Kharoufeh.

Of course, none of this was possible without the great team that put this together: Sue Hawksford, Lisa Jones, Lisa Cranston, and board member Pam Brown.

Also, this is the third year that Jim Brown and Outback contributed the great food and BBQ equipment. When you see these folks, please thank them for putting on a great party and all of they time they put into the planning.

2007 Endless Summer Nights in Sterling Woods

As usual our social committee puts on a fantastic party. We held our breath in terms of the weather but it cleared up and the evening was gorgeous. During the course of the day, the board received many compliments of how much fun everybody was having. Events included a seminar for the children by the Eastside Fire and Rescue
