One of the
opportunities that the SWHOA board has is to appoint a
safety committee to provide guidance and assistance to the
community with respect to safety and other similar concerns
within the Sterlingwoods community.   Due to recent events
as well as ongoing requests from many of you, the
SterlingWoods HOA Board would like to announce the formation
					of the

					Sterlingwoods Safety Committee.   Additionally
Lisa Cranston has graciously volunteered her time to lead this
committee. Over the next few days, Lisa will be
communicating with you to recruit at least two other
volunteers (more than two is even better) to work with her.
Laurie, Wayne or I will also be joining Lisa on this committee
to lend support from the board.

					One of the
first tasks that this team will do is develop and agenda for
the upcoming year.   While an agenda has not been adopted
yet, items that are being considered Include:

						-
						Safety
Guidance – Recent events show that specific guidance and
safety pointers can significantly lowers our profile as
						targets of theft and burglary.

						-

Partner Liaison – Over the last six months we have found
that quick and specific liaison and communication with
our sister neighborhoods as well as the police can have
						dramatic results.

						-

Speeding – Many of you are concerned with the speeding
vehicles on our streets. I believe that by working
closely with the City of Sammamish, we can effect some
						change in this area.

					Here is
how you can help.  We need you to volunteer to join
					Lisa on
this committee to develop an effective agenda as well as to
work the issues.   At the end of the day, this is your
community and your HOA.  This committee as well as the board
is here to serve your needs. Let us know how we can help
make Sterlingwoods into an even greater community by
providing your feedback into the group.
					Thank you
